Clothing - Handwash is preferred or machine wash in cold setting to protect color and prevent from washing/fading out. 
For handmade items - Caution is advised as these are fragile and hand-crafted items. Sanitize items as necessary with simple rubbing alcohol and a swab, careful to lightly swab over surfaces as needed to preserve the quality of the product.
